Starting in 2022, umlaut and connect use umlaut’s sophisticated Crowdsourcing methodology to also test the fixed-line networks in the Netherlands.

The umlaut and connect fixed-line network test in the Netherlands was the first opportunity where the joint partners published a fixed-line network test based on umlaut’s crowdsourcing methodology. This premiere was published in early 2022.

The crowdsourcing approach focuses on of the performance and qua­lity actually experienced by custo­mers with their connections. Another advantage is that the results of our fixed-­network tests are now also more comparable between different countries.
